The Mountain Marriage Retreat is a five-day, four-night immersive experience designed for couples looking to deepen their connection. Grounded in the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the retreat offers structured workshops, comfortable accommodations, and a nurturing environment to foster growth and understanding. 

This retreat is ideal for couples at any stage in their relationship who are committed to improving their communication, intimacy, and trust. Whether you're newlyweds, long-term partners, or somewhere in between, if you're open to deep emotional work and growth, this retreat is for you. 

The rate includes 20 hours of structured workshops across five days, four nights of lodging at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO, and a daily continental breakfast. 

The workshops will be led by Sharon Hicks, a seasoned marriage expert with extensive experience in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). 

Expect a blend of guided private couples discussions, hands-on activities, and reflective sessions. The workshops will delve into topics like effective communication, attachment styles, and emotional connection, all aimed at helping couples navigate their unique relational dynamics. 

You will be invited to share your experience with the larger group but the real work will be done in private breakouts with just your partner.  You can share as much (or as little) as your would like with the larger group.

There is no specific dress code, but we recommend comfortable attire suitable for both indoor sessions and potential outdoor activities. The weather in the Coloroda mountains can be quite unpredictable so we recommend wearing layers and bring sunscreen.

 Yes, please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. 

 We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as accommodating as possible while ensuring that we can continue to offer a high-quality experience for all attendees.  Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the start date of the retreat will receive a full refund of the amount paid, minus a $150 administrative fee.  Cancellations made between 30 to 90 days prior to the retreat start date will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.  Cancellations made 30 days or less before the retreat start date will not be eligible for a refund. However, in such cases, 75% of the amount paid can be credited towards a future retreat within the next calendar year.  If you're unable to attend, you have the option to transfer your registration to another couple. Please notify us at least 7 days prior to the retreat start date to facilitate the transfer.  We recommend that attendees consider purchasing travel insurance to cover any non-refundable expenses, such as travel or accommodation costs, in the event of unexpected personal emergencies or retreat cancellations.  All cancellations or changes must be communicated in writing via email to info@mountainmarriageretreat.com. Refunds will be processed based on the date of receipt of the cancellation notice.
